The CERS Myanmar centre was located in Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar. The centre was established in Thapatetan Village on the Dokhtawaddy, where villagers are predominantly involved in pottery making and weaving of longyi, the daily costume of traditional Burmese people.
The centre serves as the office, accommodations for our staff and researchers, also to house the HM Explorer, the CERS exploration boat for conducting river trips.
