From Educator to Explorer: Inspire Teaching Practices (July - August 2025)

Accompanied by experts from the China Exploration and Research Society (CERS), delve deep into the Tibetan Plateau in Yunnan, visit the Lisu village and participate in the Crossbow Festival, experience the unique culture of ethnic minorities; Explore and conduct circumambulation at the Damo Cave. Reaching Litang “The Sky’s City in China”, to visit the Renkang Old Temple and the Genie Sacred Mountain, gaining insights from the Tibetan Buddhism and the magnificent landscape. Engaging in discussions with experienced educator Dr. Hayson Liu (Deputy Director of the Wong How Man Centre for Exploration, University of Hong Kong) about field study experiences and educational ideals. The programme aims to inspire educators to develop cross-disciplinary approaches, foster an innovative mind and embrace challenges, designing activities to local students, ultimately enhancing personal growth, improving teaching practices, and benefiting students.
