Wong How Man Centre For Exploration

HKU Professors’ Trip to Zhongdian, Yunnan (2024 June)

Date: 22-27 June 2024

Led by Professor Derek Collins, (Associate Vice-President of Cultural and External Affairs & Founding Director, Wong How Man Centre for Exploration), a group of HKU staff visited the CERS site located in Zhongdian, Yunnan. The objectives of the trip are to (1) Lead professors from different disciplines to visit CERS Zhongdian Centre, explore ways to utilize CERS resources and potential research projects, (2) To share opinion on WHMCE future development plan and (3) To gain inspiration on further development of exploration trip/ student programme.
